For the second location of their popular local fusion restaurant, the client re-enlisted the MKA Architecture team to design and manage the build-out of a new 1,050 square foot food service space in Cambridge Crossing. This includes a dining area and bathrooms adhering to Universal Design principles of accessibility.

This is an unusual space with two high-traffic entrances - from the street as well as from the main building lobby - alongside a 950 square foot kitchen and storage section, with numerous constraints to the functionality of service.

This project marks Alex’s in-practice introduction to retail/ hospitality build-outs, interior architecture, and Universal Design accessibility standards as applied to public spaces.
